8/10/2008 - Been pretty busy with wedding season lately so thought I would just update with a couple from the past few weekends.

8/5/2008 - Got a new addition to our fish tank today so I had an excuse to mess around a bit in the macro world. Volitan Lionfish.

7/17/2008 - Told you I do it again. Took this one a touch earlier in the day and from a little further offshore.. not sure which one I prefer. Maybe I'll try again at this time of day but closer in to the beach again. Both look much better at a large size. Full size is pretty darn big though, 75"x9".

7/14/2008 - Moon coming up over the point.

7/13/2008 - Took the dogs out for a paddle a few times today. Still perfecting this with them. Dog claws on a slippery board dont work out the best.

7/13/2008 - Took this panoramic from the raft this afternoon. Could be a really cool angle with the right light so I might post this same pic again later in the week.

6/21/2008 - Third shot of the day! Just a tribute to Tiger and Torrey Pines after his ridiculous path to winning the US Open and the recent news that we won't see any more of him for the next year...

6/21/2008 - Second update of the day! Just a night HDR shot of part of the San Diego Skyline.

6/21/2008 - A quick shot from a recent job shooting George Michael.

6/4/2008 - A quick shot for the BRD guys. Ocean Beach hills. Check em out. http://www.brdskateco.com

5/31/2008 - Wow, a month since an update. Ive been pretty busy with other things and havent had too many chances to update with images worthy of a post until now. I just got back from 3 days camping out on Catalina in a bay called Parsons Landing. I'll post a few more images from the hike soon but for now here's a shot of Two Harbors from the start of the 7 mile trail out to our camp.

4/23/2008 - Took a short hike along Sunset Cliffs the other day for the last gasp in wild flower season. San Diego's a pretty ugly place don't you think.

4/19/2008 - Fog rolled back in here the last few days so Ive been putting photos like this up as my desktop background. This looks very warm and very relaxing right now. This is on the Eastern shore of Cozumel. Definitely ready to go back!!

3/31/2008 - Pano of a storm coming in over Paradise Beach Club on Cozumel.

Squirrel Fish

Mix of snappers and various grunts

French Angel

3/29/2008 - Its a SUPER update. 3 photos in one day! I know, I'm excited too. Just three shots of los pescados de Cozumel.

3/27/2008 - Coz photo number 2. There are a ton more on the way. I shot this off our dive boat while on the way back to the dock after diving the Palancar caves and Columbia Shallows. Obviously a little polarizing and photoshoppin a bit. HDR

3/25/2008 - Back from a week in Cozumel, MX so the next week or so is going to be filled with photos from the trip. San Diego is great but I'm ready to hop a flight right back here! This was right near our breakfast spot... Somehow my coffee didn't taste quite as good this morning...

3/13/2008 - So I've been sorting through most of my photos from the past 5 years in order to complete a total revamp of my main site. While filtering through them I came across some old favorites so I might just post a few that never made it onto the main site for some strange reason. This shot is from an assignment I did for the AP last spring near Ensenada. The story was about bluefin tuna farming. These fish are huge!! (300lbs plus)

3/10/2008 - So I have without a doubt been falling behind a touch on this blog. Here is the reason. Just hitting the tail end of building this website for Aviara Lawn. Check it out!! Now that thats through, the pics will return!! Also I'm headed to Cozumel for a week next Monday and will be posting plenty from there. Including lots of underwater shots.

3/2/2008 - Yep, fell behind a bit over the last 10 days. Since its a leap year though doesnt that mean its only been like 12 hours since my last update?? Sure.. thats my logic for now and I'm sticking to it. Thanks for the emails everyone and I promise my March resolution will be to get a lot more content up. Also watch out for some possible features being added to the site. (hint... comments, and update notifications. Oh yeah, totally forgot to talk about the photo. Shot this while walking around the gaslamp area tonight looking for a bit of creative motivation.

2/20/2008 - Just a sidenote while shooting some other stuff in a creepy enchanted forest.

2/19/2008 - Quadruple blackbelt grizzly fighter Jeremy Searle practices for an upcoming bout with that bear that killed Grizzly Man.

2/13/2008 - Ok.. this is a bit of a run of new planet discoveries so this will be the last one for awhile. Unless i change my mind. ha. This one was a bit of a project. 48 total photos, combined into 16 HDR photos, then merged into one final 360 degree panoramic and then turned into Planet Mission Beach!
