| I.Chris is born and subsequently grows up in Marin County (SF Bay Area) II. Chris becomes obsessed with the ocean and everything connected to it. III. Chris decides he is not talented enough to have a career in kiteboarding, windsurfing, surfing, or shell collecting so he decides to give photography a shot. IV. Chris shoots the people and sports he loves any time he has the opportunity. V. Chris heads to San Diego for warmer water and more traffic. VI. Chris takes a break from the warm water and traffic to study photography in Florence, Italy. VII. Chris begins assisting photographers with the Associated Press and then works primarily with them as a contract photographer. VIII. And finally... modern day Chris works for a multitude of clients producing portraiture, stock, editorial, underwater, and commercial photos and video. I have lugged my camera gear around the Caribbean, Central America, the Baja Peninsula, European castles and ruins, the Hawaiian Islands, and British Columbia but you can usually find me in San Diego. During my free time I like to detach from my computer and get outside to backpack, fly-fish, scuba dive, spearfish, road bike, or maintain a very addictive affair with surfing. |
